Giving back

A partnership with purpose

We started Norvella to take plastic out of the kitchen. But we always knew a bar of soap could do more than wash a plate. That’s why we partner with Eco-Soap Bank.

About Eco-Soap Bank

Founded in 2014 by Samir Lakhani, Eco-Soap Bank turns leftover soap from factories into new bars for children and communities who don’t have any. They bring soap and handwashing lessons to schools, and create jobs for local women who make the soap.

  • Recycled over 14.6 million pounds of soap waste that would have gone to landfill
  • Reached more than 10.5 million people with soap and handwashing training
  • Employed 175 women from disadvantaged backgrounds as soapmakers
  • Partnered with over 400 soapmakers worldwide

Handwashing with soap reduces harmful bacteria by 92%. It is one of the simplest, most effective public health interventions on earth.
